The term "Sick Building Syndrome" is used to describe situations in which building occupants experience acute health and comfort effects that appear to be linked to time spent in a building, but no specific illness or cause can be identified. The complaints may be localized in a particular room or zone, or may be widespread throughout the building.

How to address Sick Building Syndrome
Reducing VOC & eliminating mold, bacteria, viruses and Ozone is the most effective technology to reduce this. Ozone Generators are used to oxidise the VOC and purify the indoor air.
To eliminate the VOC in the indoor air the ozone is injected in the HVAC Systems’ AHU ducts. The grams of the ozone doses are decided on the CFM of the AHU duct & also the area of the affected place. The controlled ozone doses are injected continuously, if the source of the VOC production (paints, carpets, new construction glues, etc) is still producing VOC's. Ozone Generators in an unoccupied residence with VOC issues is highly effective. Once the ozone reverts back to oxygen most if not all of the VOC's in the air will cease to exist.
